About Us
The Cedar Lake Community Club (CLCC) was formed in 1939 as a social organization for the property owners of Cedar Lake in Denville, New Jersey. For generations, the CLCC has provided member activities and maintained the clubhouse property. It also provides a unique, multi-generational gathering place for this beautiful lake community. Events, pub nights, Hub Lakes sports, and clubhouse rentals are open and available to current CLCC members in good standing.

Our Vision & Approach
At the Cedar Lake Community Club, our vision is to foster a strong sense of fellowship among the residents, creating a welcoming and vibrant community. For generations, we have strived to offer a place where families and individuals can connect, enjoy recreational activities, and build lasting relationships. Through a rich variety of social events, sports, and gatherings, we aim to enhance the quality of life for our members while preserving the natural beauty and unique spirit of the lake community.
Our approach is guided by the Board of Trustees, who oversee the use of our clubhouse and facilities, including the tennis, volleyball, and basketball courts, as well as the horseshoe pits. The board formulates and enforces rules that ensure all members can benefit from these resources. To help achieve our goals, the board appoints committees led by board members, dedicated to maintaining and improving the club for future generations.
Board of Trustees
The CLCC Board of Trustees is an elected group of dedicated resident members responsible for managing and governing the Community Club. Comprised of eighteen members, the board is elected annually, with each trustee serving a three-year term. These individuals volunteer their time and expertise to ensure the smooth operation of the club and the well-being of the community. Board members are entrusted with making key decisions that support the club’s mission and maintain the facilities for the enjoyment of all members.
Serving on the board is a rewarding way to contribute to the Cedar Lake community. All board members serve without pay, driven by their commitment to enhancing life at the lake.
